A few posts earlier I wondered which Twitter account would be the first to break the news. We might have a winner.

700WLW, Cincinnati's big AM sports radio station tweeted that:

BREAKING: Brian Kelly has told players...I'm gone. Unconfirmed at this point.

they then followed up their unconfirmed confirmation with slightly more concrete details:

BREAKING: "Captains" have been rumored to have been told by Brian Kelly he is leaving.
